Proportion & Atmosphere

These two photo show the proportion of the logs in the first photo, and added interest with a cute couple in the second photo.
The closest log looks large whereas the logs keep getting smaller in the distance. Metadata ISO200, matrix metering, 1/80, f13 aperture, 66mm in the first photo. Metadata 2nd photo is 640 iso, w/b auto, 1/500, f11, aperture, 50mm

Dominance & Space

This was my first experience with panning and using "burst" shooting on my camera. My husband had no trouble driving back and forth for me so I could get a photo. I used the burst feature and captured him as he was heading down the road. That was fun!

Blinds - Value & Flash

This is a blind from my sons room. I took this shot upside down & at a angle. I think it represents value very well. Metadata ISO Hi-1, wb flash plus 1, matrix, 1/25 f8, 105mm

Texture and line- Gate Color

I took this photo in downtown Olympia on a dreary evening. I used flash fill, ISO640, WB Cloudy,F 6.7 , 1/6 shutter, aperture priority, 60 mm. This is the original of the previous photo which was changed to black & white in photo shop. I like this photo better because the rust shows age. It was a great experience seeing the difference between color and B & W

Texture and line

I took this photo and changed it to B & W to see if it created more or less drama. I believe there is more drama in the black and white, but I like the original because the all the rust on the bars shows age.

Flash and value

Out of all the boats in the marina, this one held the most interest for me. All the other boats were large and plain white. I really like the wood seats because it gives it color. It was very dreary and almost raining. Metadata, ISO640, cloudy wb, 1/60, f9, aperture priority, flash fill
